“You’re a Stoner sister, aren’t you?” youngest sister Sheli was asked on her first day of high school. Following in the footsteps of sisters Tami and Traci was oftentimes like riding a runaway rollercoaster, yet the three girls formed a bond that has remained intact through good times and bad.
The sisters’ path to health began when Sheli, then a pharmaceutical sales executive and mother, lost her husband to cancer. Fueled with a passion to choose the right foods and products for her family, she earned her certification in traditional nutrition and set out to change the world—beginning with her sister Tami.
Tami was living an unhealthy lifestyle that she says took her down a dark path, one that required drastic changes to alter her course. “My sister Sheli took me under her wing and taught me about traditional nutrition. When I saw the results in my own life, Sheli’s passion became mine and we became a team.”
The two sisters began educating people about how many health conditions can be resolved with traditional nutrition and good eating habits. As their followers grew, the sisters developed a recipe for organic sprouted spelt dough and pizza sauce that everyone loved. They wanted to open a restaurant, but they needed someone who was positive, energetic, and organized to keep them on track. That someone was eldest sister Traci.
With the help of three amazing individuals, Jim Osteen, David Hooten, and Chef Cally Johnson, the three sisters opened Stone Sisters Pizza Bar in May of 2017. One first time customer said, “The sprouted spelt crust can only be described as an epiphany. Seriously? I couldn’t believe I was eating a pizza that was organic, gluten friendly, non-GMO, and it tasted like a slice of heaven!”
The sisters credit their success in life to their mother. She taught them the meaning of unconditional love as she demonstrated unwavering faith in the face of adversity. Sherrie volunteers her time at the restaurant, where she makes brownies and serves up smiles for everyone she meets.
The Stone Sisters are all about making a positive change in the world through their love of people and healthy pure organic food. Sheli says, “Our purpose is to change lives through nutrition education and providing people with whole food choices that can stop the unhealthy cycle of disease. Oh—and we’re having a darn good time doing it!”

I really enjoyed eating here. The staff was amazing. The pizza was Unforgettable and very tasty. Definitely somewhere you should try if you're in the neighborhood. They have a pickle pizza that's to die for.
Highly impressed by the friendly and fast service. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! I ordered the bratty sister pizza and I’m in love! They have a unique and wide selection. They also offer a variety of local beer. I’m definitely coming back.
This was the best pizza I’ve had in a long time . The Airman First Class Pebble was amazing. The pepperoni is the best I’ve ever had. We will be coming back and telling everyone about this place.
The best pizza of my life probably because they are a cut above the rest, with all organic and non gmo ingredients, you can have peace of mind with your piece of pizza! The gluten free spelt crust is so good and crispy, I have been searching for a good crunchy crust for years and this one has won my heart! (and my sensitive stomach) They have very creative specialty pizzas, or you can build your own, choosing from a wide variety of ingredients (including vegan options!) and to top it all off, the prices are very fair and not any more than you would pay at other pizza shops! I would recommend this place to anyone, especially those with food restrictions who are missing good pizza!
The best 2 slices of pizza I've ever tasted. Had I known that I would be haunted by the deliciousness I would have purchased an extra and hauled it home. If you're looking for a pizza to remember, this is worth the visit.
This has become a regular spot for our family. We love that they have quality organic ingredients, and it's delicious. Their cauliflower crust specialty pies are our favorite.
Absolutely fantastic!! The nicest people you will ever meet. Such friendly service.. and the pizza... OH MY WORD. how can pizza be healthy, AND taste good at the same time?? Highly recommend!!
Stone Sisters offer a truly unique approach to pizza, using a spelt recipe for their crust. This grain doesn't leave you feeling heavy and bloated like most regular pizza can. The organic and fresh ingredients are evident in the final product, and you leave feeling like you got what you paid for. Delicious!!
Fantastic! The service from the sisters is wonderful, and all the pizzas were all delicious. We have food allergies to egg, dairy, banana, soy and peanut & dined safely. There wasn’t a single bite left! We can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!
We came here with my whole family that needs both gluten free and vegan. The selection was perfect and the food was incredible! I loved it so much that I came back the next day. I love supporting a local business. The owners/sisters are so fun! They are eager to have a conversation and it makes this big city feel like a small town. I’ve already recommended it to some friends!
Stone Sisters Pizza Bar is absolutely delicious. I met two of the three sisters the day I went and they were wonderful. The wide variety of pizza options they have is wonderful for anyone in the family. They have a really delicious vegan crust called spelt and it is delicious even if you're none vegan. I had a basic pepperoni pizza but the pepperonis tasted nice and were cooked well. The cheese was also delicious as well. What I love most is how they support local business by buying and using their ingredients. They also have their crust on amazon and at Urban Agrarian. I recommend this highly.
